Examples for social media
The line gradient can be used on other media than the web. For example it can be used to highlight the title on social media banners.
Using the line gradient, in combination with the text is an accepted behavior in print but it should not be reproduced on digital websites because of accessibility requirements.
Using the line gradient in separation of the first section of the page is the way to use it on digital website. It can be used with display and heading styles.
